Nestled along the Biolley piste above the resort, La Loy is easily accessed by skiing directly down toward Saint-Martin-de-Belleville from the top of the St Martin 1 gondola. As it sits literally on the way back to the village, you can effortlessly ski from La Loy all the way down to Saint-Martin without using any lifts. The menu focuses on traditional Savoie cuisine—pasta, fondue, raclette, and more refined offerings like croûtes savoyardes, lamb rack, or sweetbreads, reflecting a gourmet twist on alpine classics. The atmosphere strikes a balance—cozy and authentic with log fires and a sunny terrace, ideal for a relaxed apres-ski stop rather than a bustling party scene.

Le Corbeleys

Le Corbeleys is another on-slope restaurant situated just across from the top of the St Martin 1 gondola, meaning it can be accessed by foot (by taking the gondola from the village) and requires no further lifts back to the village at the end of the day. Le Corbeleys offers a varied winter menu full of Savoyard classics.

L’Eskis is another, ideally situated restaurant, found right at the top station of the Saint-Martin 1 gondola, making arrival both effortless and scenic. Skiers and non-skiers alike can disembark at the gondola and walk over to L’Eskis. Its location means that skiers can descend the mountain directly into the village of Saint Martin without the need of any more lifts. 

It offers a hearty, Savoyard-inspired menu balanced with approachable favorites. Signature dishes include Royans gratin, mushroom soup en croûte, diots sausages with polenta, burgers, and seasonal specials like alpine-style fish & chips made with trout. The emphasis is on homemade, generously portioned mountain-style fare made with locally sourced ingredients—meats from Chambéry and cheeses and charcuterie from nearby artisans.

Chez Pepe Nicolas

Situated between Les Menuires and Val Thorens, Chez Pépé Nicolas is directly accessible via the La Chasse piste—a convenient on-ski route if snow and conditions allow. Chez Pepe is a charming family-run alpine farm-restaurant offering a bistronomic Savoyard menu crafted with produce from their mountain pasture, permaculture garden, fishpond, and trusted local suppliers. Expect trout, fresh goat cheese tarts, traditional fondue, raclette (enhanced with morels or truffles), homemade ice creams, and matafins served in a thoughtful and authentic mountain culinary style. Note though that direct ski return is not possible to St Martin, so use of lifts to return to the village is necessary.

Le 2800- Pointe de la Masse

Le 2800, this altitude restaurant crowns the summit of Pointe de la Masse. It’s reached via the Pointe de la Masse gondola, currently the fastest in the world, ferrying skiers (and pedestrians) up in just 8 minutes. The menu offers elevated favorites such as the “2800 omelet” with reblochon, lamb shank, burgers with local cheese, and sharing meat or cheese boards. The vibe is upmarket and vibrant, with elegant interior design, a gorgeous panoramic terrace, warm service, and an energetic après-ski ambiance—guests praise “excellent atmosphere,” “great staff,” and even dancing on wooden tables.

Afterwards, you can ski down via blue or red runs—or return via cable car—back to Les Menuires, or use further ski lifts to return to St Martin. Skiers can also get the free shuttle back to St Martin from Les Meniures, offering a lift-free option to return home!

Roc7

This high-altitude Italian-style restaurant is perched at around 2,300 m, right next to the top of the Roc 1 bubble lift, so it is also accessible for non-skiers. The menu offers delicious dishes that focus on Italian comfort, including pizzas or pasta, with an informal yet festive vibe. 

The après-ski vibe here is lively and fun, one of the best on the mountains, with DJs and live performers on the terrace in the afternoons—great energy for ski-in crowds looking for a social break. Skiers can drop right in from the slopes, and ski back toward Menuires or use ski lifts to return to St Martin. Skiers can also get the free shuttle back to St Martin from Les Meniures, offering a lift-free option to return home!

La Chouette

Set right on the Bruyères snowfront, La Chouette is fully accessible by ski or on foot via the slope area in Les Menuires’ Bruyères sector (approximately 1 kilometer up the valley from the main Les Menuires center). Its food is a mix of brasserie dishes, Savoyard specialties, and genuine Breton galettes and crêpes, all made in-house. The atmosphere is inviting and family-friendly, offering a warm, lively setting ideal for lunch or evening meals, and even suitable as a dessert or après-ski snack stop.

From La Chouette, you can ski directly to Les Menuires, where you can either ride the ski lifts or catch the free shuttle to return to St Martin.

Maya Altitude 

Maya Altitude sits high above Méribel—at around 2,300 to 2,400 meters elevation—at the top of the Tougnète 2 chairlift (reachable via the Tougnète gondola and chairlift). The setting is directly on the slopes. Maya Altitude offers an elevated brasserie-style menu with a creative twist. Alongside Savoyard specialties, they showcase two unique cooking methods: charcoal grill and Tandoor oven—a rare and remarkable combo for a high-altitude mountain restaurant. The interior features an imposing charcoal grill, meat maturation cellar, and butcher’s block—emphasizing top-quality meats and gourmet preparation. 

Its apres-ski scene is stylish, energetic, and festive, with live DJs that create a party-feel for skiers looking to socialise, enjoy cocktails and soak in the views! Direct return to St Martin Village is possible on skis
